Layout of my double page spread

In order to produce a good double page spread for my music magazine I have completed a layout of it. This helps me to indicate where the sections are of what features etc. There are annotations below of my double page spread for my music magazine and the layout presentation of it:

Layout of my Contents page

I have made a layout of my contents page to indicate what sections of the contents are featured on it. It is a quick and easy way to know where to place my features and acknowledge what the conventions are in order to produce a good music magazine contents page. I have found this useful as it is annotated and has boxes over the features. Below shows my contents page and the layout of it:

Layout of Q’s Contents Page

I have decided to create a layout for my contents page in which I could use as a guide for my own. I could make minor or vast adjustments to my own layout of the contents page for my music magazine which I present later on. I have took an existing music magazine of ‘Q’ magazine.

Layout of MOJO’s double page spread

I have saved a double-page spread image from one of MOJO’s magazine as part of our task. This would then help us to decide how we would want our desired layout to look like. We have labelled and drawn boxes around the conventions of what’s included in the layout in a typical music magazine i.e the main image and pull quotes.
